Rape & Domestic Violence Services Australia

Rape & Domestic Violence Services Australia is a non-government organisation that supports people who have experienced sexual, domestic and family violence. Our services include the NSW Rape Crisis counselling service for people in NSW whose lives have been impacted by sexual violence; Sexual Assault Counselling Australia for people accessing the Redress Scheme resulting from the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse; the counselling service and support for people experiencing domestic and family violence across Australia and the LGBTIQ+ violence counselling service.

We often speak to government, the media and the community about preventing violence. We aim to prevent violence by changing attitudes and behaviours towards women and men and improving gender equality.
